Join us to hear from Rogelio Colón, the Community Outreach and Resource Planning Specialist with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division (DOL WHD) in the Austin District Office. He has held this position since April 2024. Prior to joining the DOL WHD, he worked for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in the Honolulu and Las Vegas Local Offices as a Senior Investigator, Outreach and Education Coordinator, and Lead Systemic Investigator between February 2009 and April 2024. He also served in the U.S. Army in both military and civilian capacities between 1995 and 2009.

He is currently working toward a Master of Human Resources and Employment Law through Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor’s School of Law. He also has a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Chaplaincy, as well as a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Criminal Justice.
